Tesha and Lawrence exchanged vows at Texas Discovery Gardens. We are huge fans of TDG, because that's where we got married in 2007! Beautiful venue choice, and we recommend TDG to everyone.

Cerulean Gallery Presents Wanderlust

If you've never had the chance to visit the Cerulean Gallery in Dallas, you should consider one of their upcoming events. We were invited to visit their most recent exhibit Wanderlust, to support a fellow artist and friend of ours, Susan Scott (the last image above is one of her pieces). She does fantastic multi-media, four-dimensional work; things you just never would have imagined. Her new website is under construction currently, but you can view some of her pieces on her pages at the Cerulean here and here. Photographs (even our own) cannot do her textures and dimensions any justice, so if you ever have the opportunity to see her work in person, clear your calendar!

Another talented artist whose work we had the pleasure of viewing was Michelle Weddle (second to last image above). Her paintings are extremely unique, and each piece tells its own little quirky story. Definitely check out her gallery as well!

Sarah and Michael: The Wedding

Sarah and Michael had a small ceremony held at the couple's house for only their closest family and friends. Sarah's father wed the happy couple, and then everyone stuck around to exchange some very personal gifts. Afterward their two pups joined the party (if only to clean up after the guests).
